The Parent’s Huddle is all about being a successful spiritual leader for your children. The Bible is clear that parents are to serve as the primary spiritual leader in the home. One of our goals as a church is to partner with parents to enable you to be successful in that role.
The Parent’s Huddle is not just for Moms! Dads – did you know that your children form their primary view of God based on their relationship with their father? You MATTER as a dad. The Parent’s Huddle will give you some tools to be intentional about passing your faith on to your sons and daughters.
The Parent’s Huddle is the basic starting point for our Legacy Milestones. This program recognizes that there are seven common milestones that every child goes through on his/her way to adulthood. The Milestones help parents guide their children through each one of the milestones. They also allow the church to partner with parents to reinforce the key concepts that mom and dad are teaching at home in regards to spiritual life.
The Parent’s Huddle is the place to be to find out more information about guiding your child: On the process of salvation – Through the crazy years of puberty – Figuring out how to remain pure through the teen years – What it looks like to be a man/woman of God – and much more.
We offer the Parent’s Huddle roughly twice a year, and it is open to everyone. You are not required to be a member or regular attender of our church. In fact, we encourage our regular attenders to bring friends, neighbors, and other members of the community.
Each Parent’s Huddle is free of charge, and childcare is available. Light refreshments and coffee will be available.
