At The Movies (New Lens) - Creation

GOD IS OUR CREATOR AND HE MADE US CREATIVE

Genesis 1:1 ESV

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

Psalm 90:2 ESV

Before the mountains were brought forth,

or ever you had formed the earth and the world,

from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

WHY ARE WE HERE?

WHY ARE YOU HERE?

WHY AM I HERE?

In the Beginning God …

Tells us WHO

Matthew 3:16-17

After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and settling on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.”

WHY ARE WE HERE?

WHY ARE YOU HERE?

WHY AM I HERE?

WHAT’S YOUR MSRP?

THE MOVIE “WALL-E” envisions a CREATION that has been totally trashed and only a “LONELY” robot collects and “cubes” the trash “he” finds.

“If humans came back to a “cleaned up” planet, would they do better a second time?”

John 3:16-17

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”

COMMUNION

Colossians 1:15-17 ESV

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
