At The Movies (New Lens) - Supernatural

Is there really a spiritual world active around me?

But the bigger question is really… “What difference does it make?”

Mt. 25:41 – He will say to those on his left, “Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”

The existence of a supernatural world reminds us we are not alone.

2 Kings 6:16-17 – Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

The existence of a supernatural world reminds us that God is fighting for us even when we aren’t aware of it.

The existence of a supernatural world matters because…In order to take your stand against the devil’s schemes, you have to be able to recognize the real enemy.

Eph.6:12 - “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The more stressful the times that you live in, the more important it is to remember that the Lordship of Jesus changes everything.

[Communion]

The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
